The present invention relates to a filtering apparatus having an improved structure for easily discharging a solid matter filtered by a filtering net having a mesh shape in a process of filtering a fluid such as oil, cooking oil, or the like containing solid residues. The filtering apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a pump for pumping a fluid supplied from the outside into a housing; the housing formed with an inlet through which the fluid pumped by the pump is introduced on a lower portion thereof, an outlet through which the fluid is discharged to the outside on one side of an upper portion thereof, and a discharge hole extending to discharge residues existing therein to the outside on an upper end thereof; a filtering net arranged in a cylindrical shape in the housing and filtering the fluid introduced to an outlet side from the inside of the housing; and a discharge means for discharging the residues discharged through the discharge hole to the outside of the housing. |
