PURPOSE: A system for transmitting packet data and a transmitting method thereof are provided to make a response rate fast by reduction of transmission time, thereby providing a quicker web contents service to users. CONSTITUTION: A client processor(102) provides a web contents environment. A contents server(104) provides web contents data to an internet. A packet compression server(106) is connected to the client processor and the contents server. When the client processor requests web contents data in an RUDP(Reliable User Datagram Protocol) type, the packet compression server compresses the web contents data into packet data. The packet compression server converts the compressed packet compression data into the RUDP type. In a mobile communication network(108), the request packet data is transmitted to the packet compression server. In other words, the compressed packet compression data is transmitted to the client processor. |
