PURPOSE: A safety appliance of a portable gas range is provided to prevent an explosion accident of a gas barrel or the fire by separating the gas barrel from a gas cock. CONSTITUTION: A safety appliance of a portable gas range comprises a rotary lever(4), a slider(5), a flame sensor(10) and an actuator. The rotary lever is combined in a main body of the portable gas range with a hinge. The slider moves a gas barrier to the gas cock from the main body. The flame sensor is installed in the gas cock in which an inlet port of the gas barrel is connected. The flame sensor senses a flame. The actuator separates the gas barrel from the gas cock. The actuator is installed in a locking plate(4b) extended from the rotary lever.
