Compounds that inhibit Aurora-kinases, compositions containing the compounds and methods of treating diseases using the compounds are disclosed. One embodiment of this invention, therefore, pertains to compounds that inhibit Aurora-kinases, the compounds having formula I and therapeutically acceptable salts thereof.
