<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water-based ink for inkjet recording enabling effective inkjet recording hardly accompanied with delayed shooting of the ink even without a flushing operation. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based ink for inkjet recording includes a coloring agent, water, and a water-soluble organic solvent. In the water-based ink after drying, tanδ at frequency of 100 (1/sec) measured at 25°C represented by the following equation (1): tanδ=G"/G' is 4 or more.
