<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting device capable of avoiding intrusion of rainwater and improving heat dissipation effect although a box is formed of a resin. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular lighting device includes: a printed board 52 on which an LED 53 and electronic parts are surface mounted; a metal heat sink 51 fixed on the printed board 52; a transmissive lens 20 for lighting a road surface; a base plate 41 for mounting the lighting device 10 on a vehicle 1; the box 11 formed of a resin so as to cover the printed board 52, on which the transmissive lens 20 is mounted; a sealing means 30, which seals the lighting device 10 from outside; heat dissipation spaces S1, S2 formed between the transmissive lens 20 and the heat sink 51 and between the base plate 41 and the heat sink 51; and air vents 44, which ventilate air in the heat dissipation spaces S1, S2. The heat dissipation effect of the metal heat sink 51 itself and the structure of the air holes can further improve the heat dissipation effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
