<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nasal delivery device and a nasal delivery method which are used for delivering, to the nasal duct of a patient, one selected from a substance containing a combination drug (especially a systemic agent or a topical agent) or a vaccine, liquid, especially a suspension or a solution, or powder. <P>SOLUTION: The nasal delivery device for delivering a substance to the nasal duct of a patient is provided. The nasal delivery device comprises a nosepiece 17 fitted to the nostril of a subject and a delivery unit for delivering the substance through a nozzle 25 of the nosepiece 17. The nosepiece 17 has the nozzle 25 through which the substance delivered to the nose duct passes during use and at least one inflatable cuff member 27 which inflates after the patient exhales. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
