<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly charge a battery for a mobile apparatus by performing efficient electromagnetic coupling between an induction coil of the mobile apparatus and a power supply coil of a charger cradle. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile apparatus and the charger cradle include the mobile apparatus 50 including the induction coil 51 and the battery 54 and the charger cradle 10 for charging the battery 54 of the mobile apparatus 50. The charger cradle 10 includes a power supply coil 21 inside a curved bottom 13 as the curved bottom 13 curved into a U groove-shape at a bottom of an attachment part 12 and connects a power supply 22 to the power supply coil 21. The mobile apparatus 50 includes the induction coil 51 inside a curved back surface 53 with a back surface placed on the attachment part 12 of the charger cradle 10 as a curved back surface 53 along the U groove-shaped curved bottom 13. When the mobile apparatus 50 is set at the attachment part 12 of the charger cradle 10, electric power is transmitted to the induction coil 51 from the power supply coil 21 electromagnetically coupled to each other, thus charging the battery 54 of the mobile apparatus 50 with an electric power induced in the induction coil 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
