<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in management of articles directly laid on a floor, wherein there are always human errors due to visual management, and ordering point and safety inventory management cannot be performed well, and when there are many kinds of articles, a large space and a management facility such as shelves are required and visual management takes time. <P>SOLUTION: In an article management device, the weight of the article is measured using an elastic body, and when the weight reaches a predetermined value, a lower limit stopper is fixed so that the weight does not go down further. When the weight is off the predetermined value, an upper limit stopper is fixed so that the weight does not go up further.
