PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management apparatus and a management method capable of facilitating resource management. SOLUTION: In the management apparatus and management method for managing a resource allocated to a virtual node that provides a file sharing service to a client in units of a resource management group configured from a plurality of mutually associated resources, an association between the resources is extracted based on history information of access from the client, and the associated resource management groups are integrated based on the extracted association between the resources.
