PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new shape measuring device having high operability. SOLUTION: This shape measuring device is equipped with at least two measuring machines CMM1, CMM2 equipped with a driving mechanism respectively and arranged opposedly to put a measured subject 60 therebetween, and at least two operation controllers 51, 52 connected to the measuring machines correspondingly respectively. The operation controllers 51, 52 are enabled to operate all measuring machines including non-connected measuring machines CMM2, CMM1 respectively. The operation controllers 51, 52 have selector buttons 53, 54 and are capable of selecting the measuring machine as an operation subject by switching the selector buttons.
