<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out a bowing pattern for a stringed instrument easier and suitable for a music piece and to produce a bowing note recording bowing data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Electronic music score data 510 read from a user terminal 2 is displayed in an electronic music score data display part 501, a user inputs a fixed bowing point to the displayed electronic music score data as necessary (L1), and an extraction result is displayed by a bowing pattern extraction part 502. When extracting a bowing pattern, a bowing rule registered with a bowing rule storage part 503 is read (L2), the extraction is executed accordingly. The extraction of the bowing pattern is repeated as necessary (L2 and L3), and an extracted bowing is input to a bowing pattern decision part 504, so as to automatically produce electronic music score data 511 to which the bowing is added. The produced electronic music score data 511 is displayed in an electronic music score display device 600 as a bowing note and registered with an electronic music score data storage part 403 via a communication interface 505.
