<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn weight measuring device capable of continuously measuring the weight of each yarn continuously for a plurality of times for a plurality of pieces of yarn, and to provide a yarn count measuring device having the yarn weight measuring device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The yarn weight measuring device includes: a retainer capable of retaining a plurality of pieces of yarn; an identifying device for identifying the retained yarn; a cutting device for cutting the identified yarn for feeding to a gravimeter; and the gravimeter for measuring the weight of the cut yarn. Also, the identifying device, cutting device, and gravimeter can be repeatedly operated on the yarn retained by the retainer in this order, and the cutting device and the gravimeter can be repeatedly operated in this order, thus measuring the weight of a plurality of pieces of yarn and that of single yarn for a plurality of times and hence reducing the work load of a measurement worker.
