<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved insert-molding die for molding a coil bobbin on an iron core in a body with resin and an improved coil bobbin molded by the die and particularly to provide an insert-molding die capable of suppressing the generation of burrs in the head of the iron core and the deformation of the head caused by molding. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The coil bobbin forming cavity 10 has, on both ends of a body forming recess 11, first and second flange forming recesses 12, 13 for forming flanges 21, 22 projected at both ends of the coil bobbin 20. An iron core holding recess 14 has a first recess 14b for accommodating the head 31 of an iron core 30 and a second recess 14c for holding the other end of the body of the iron core. A projected weir 15 is formed at the first forming recess 12 of the coil bobbin and the first recess 14b so that the head of the iron core 30 touches the body 32 of the iron core 30 closely without any space between them when the head 31 is accommodated in the first recess 14b.
