<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber structural body having a high sound absorbing performance in a wider frequency region. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the rubber structural body, rubber chips 1, cut threads 2 and cut thread aggregations 3 are connected with an adhesive while forming voids 4 among them. By operations of the rubber chips 1 and the voids 4 among them and further by operations of the cut threads 2 exposed in the voids 4 and the cut thread aggregations 3, the rubber structural body exhibits high sound absorbing performance in a wider frequency region.
