摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measuring sensor that effectively prevents the effect of specular reflection light from a translucent plate with respect to an output characteristic in relation to a distance to a detection object and thereby can improve detection sensitivity, and moreover that achieves the output characteristic showing a tendency to be proportional to the distance to the detection object and thereby can improve detection accuracy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The distance measuring sensors 10a-10i are equipped respectively with light-emitting elements 11, lenses 12 for emission, light-receiving elements 13, lenses 14 for reception and sensor cases 15 and 15a-15e wherein these members are provided. The light-emitting element 11 and the lens 12 for emission are disposed so that an angle is given to the optical axis of detecting emission light L1 emitted from the light-emitting element 11 in relation to an imaginary perpendicular line δ as a reference which is drawn to a light irradiation plane Qa of the detection object Q.
