<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of inconvenience in a drain-plug mechanism and a drain plug device that adherence of water stain frequently occurs so that the water stain fixedly attached in a prolonged use and is hard to be removed, and thus the appearance is deteriorated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The drain-plug mechanism member is composed with a base member for the drain-plug mechanism member and a covering part formed on the base member of the drain-plug mechanism member. The covering part is formed of a resin while the resin has a cross-linking part. The cross-linking part is formed by a cross-linking reaction of a cross-linking agent containing not less than 4 of functional groups forming the cross-linking for a monomeric unit forming the main agent of the resin and the monomeric unit.
