<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tarpaulin which can improve heat resistance and high-temperature creep properties and have a soft texture. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The tarpaulin is formed by a fiber foundation 12 formed by a twisted thread 14 and a coating material 13 coating at least one side of the fiber foundation 12. The twisted thread 14, a filament thread 15L and a staple thread 15S having a fiber length shorter than that of the filament thread 15L are mixed/twisted to compose the tarpaulin 11.
