Ž<P>SOLUTION: A forged pinion 1 has: a base part formed into a cylindrical shape; a support hole 5 supported on the outer periphery of an axial member, which is arranged in the axial center part of the base part in the direction of the axis of rotation and to which torque is transmitted; and gear teeth 7 erected on the periphery of the base part by forging the base part.
