<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable umbrella stand and umbrella case by which user can concentrate on e-mail, game, and reading, free from the unpleasant feeling caused to himself/herself and also to the other persons by the wet umbrella which touches feet in the inside of train crowded on a rainy day, not holding the umbrella when sitting down and also standing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The wet umbrella is to be received in an umbrella case which is composed of the fiber preventing water from passing through, and the closing string for opening arranged in the upper end opening of the case has an appropriate length and is expandable, and a locking tool such as a hook or a clip is arranged in the distal end of the string to be connected to the still object.
