<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sliding resistance of a slider when a slide fastener is closed in a skin cover for a vehicle seat in which a fastener piece of the slide fastener is sewn to a skin piece face to face so that the seam is not exposed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first skin piece 22 and a second skin piece 24 to be closed with the slide fastener have return restraining cloths 70 and 72 on the inner sides for retaining fastener pieces 52 and 62 in the turned back state to the front by restraining the fastener pieces 52 and 62 from returning to the face-to-face state. One end 70a of the return restraining cloth 70 is sewn to a margin 52n of a base cloth 52 of the fastener piece 50, and the other end is sewn together with the other skin piece 26 to the other end 22c of the first skin piece 22 or second skin piece 24 sewn to the other skin piece 26 on the opposite side from one end 22b of the skin piece.
