<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at the improvement of selectivity performance and threshing efficiency and also the prevention of cereal grain-scattering and straw dust development by maintaining the layer thickness of threshing cereal culms as appropriate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This combine harvester is provided by installing: a threshing device (5) equipped with a threshing feed chain (6); a discharged straw-conveying device (9) for receiving the discharged straw after being threshed by the threshing device (5) from the threshing feed chain (6) and discharging to the outside of a machine; a discharged straw-detecting sensor (10b) for detecting the amount of the discharged straw conveyed by the discharged straw-conveying device (9); and a controlling device (12), in the case that the detected value of the amount of discharged straw by the discharged straw-detecting sensor (10b) is smaller than a prescribed value, deceleration-controlling the threshing feed chain (6) and in the case that the detected value of the amount of discharged straw by the discharged straw-detecting sensor (10b) is larger than a prescribed value, acceleration-controlling the threshing feed chain (6).
