SEALING DEVICE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device having simple construction for surely preventing the leakage of fluid from between the outer peripheral face of a rotor shaft and a housing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sealing device 4 seals a space between the housing 2 parting a high pressure side from a low pressure side and the outer peripheral face of a rotating shaft 2 inserted into a through-hole 24 of the housing 2. The sealing device 4 comprises two seal rings 42 arranged at a seal space from the outer peripheral face of the rotating shaft 2. The seal rings 42 are each stored in recessed groove 43 of a seal case 41 where one axial end face on the low pressure side is pressed against the side face of the recessed groove 43 by a compression coil spring 47. Between the two seal rings 42 in the seal case 41, a cavity 415 is formed from where fluid is sucked by a sucking means. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
