PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel and a spool of the same capable of improving strength of the spool and preferably utilizing the inner space of the spool.SOLUTION: A fishing reel consists of a spool 10 for winding and holding a fishing line rotatably supported between two side plates 1A and 1B of a reel body 1. The spool 10 consists of a cylindrical spool trunk 11 for winding a fishing line, and flange parts 12a and 12b respectively mounted on one side and the other side of the spool trunk 11. The winding trunk 11 includes a reinforcement cylindrical part 13 having a rigid material harder than the material of the spool trunk 11 at least partially in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
