PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head and an ink jet recording device which have simple structures secured with reliability in electrical insulation.SOLUTION: An ink jet head includes: a flow passage section; a plurality of piezoelectric elements; a sheet-like electrode plate; and an insulation sheet. The flow passage section is formed of a conductive material and includes a plurality of nozzles and an internal flow passage. The internal flow passage is branched from a main flow section and includes a plurality of branch flow sections connected to the plurality of nozzles. A plurality of piezoelectric elements are provided corresponding to the plurality of branch flow sections and are electrically connected to a plurality of switches included in a switch section. The electrode plate is provided in a state that the plurality of piezoelectric elements are electrically connected to a second plane, and drive voltage is applied thereon. In the electrode plate, a portion in contact with deformed piezoelectric elements is deformed in accordance with deformation of the piezoelectric elements according to the drive voltage applied at a timing when the switches are closed. The insulation sheet is formed of an electrical insulation material, is provided between the electrode plate and the flow passage section, and has a deformed portion in contact with the deformed electrode plate portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
