<p>An automatic charging socket includes a housing (7) with plug jacks (1); a card-reading apparatus (4) that reads out the information from a card; and a controller (5) that is connected between the plug jacks (1) and a power source (6) and controls connection or disconnection between the plug jacks (1) and the power source (6) according to the information of the card. The card-reading apparatus (4) is connected to the controller (5). The automatic charging socket is the socket with an additional power consumption system, and can be applied to the park, the library, the super market, the airport, the road, etc, so as to provide convenient power for the electric equipment.
