PURPOSE: A rear structure of a vehicle body is provided to absorb the shock energy applied to a vehicle rear part sufficiently by enabling a rear center member to be transformed centering on a transformed weak point. CONSTITUTION: A rear structure of a vehicle body comprises the first rear side member, the second rear side member, a rear cross member and a rear center member(5). The first rear side member is extended toward the vehicle rear side and is arranged in the left/right directions. The second rear side member is extended toward the vehicle rear side and is arranged in the left/right directions. The rear cross member connects the first and second rear side members in the width direction of the vehicle by being installed in the rear of the vehicle. The rear center member has a weak point which is transformed by the input load from the back of the vehicle and is placed between the first and second rear side members. The weak point comprises the first weak point(14) and the second weak point(16).
