PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite container and a production method of the container, by which various functions and characteristics can be imparted to containers and containers in various designs can be obtained, and a preform and a composite preform.SOLUTION: First, a plastics preform 10a is prepared, and a plastics member 40a is disposed to enclose the outside of the preform 10a so as to produce a composite preform 70 having the preform 10a and the plastics member 40a adhered to the outside of the preform 10a. Then a composite container 10A is obtained by heating and inserting the composite preform 70 into a blow-molding die 50 and subjecting the composite preform 70 to blow-molding in the blow-molding die 50 so as to integrally expand the preform 10a and the plastics member 40a of the composite preform 70.
