<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide long light guide members capable of emitting light to concentrate attention on instruments by strongly giving an impact to a driver without losing the continuous feeling between the instruments and the aesthetic appearance of the instruments, a lighting system having the long light guide members, and a warning system having the lighting system. <P>SOLUTION: When an instruction for lighting the warning system 1 is performed, long light guide members 10a-10c attached to the front cover of a display such as a speedometer are turned on according to the traveling state of a vehicle. Specifically, when the vehicle exceeds a limiting speed, the long light guide member 10a of the speedometer 90 is turned on to warn that the speed of the vehicle exceeds the limiting speed.
