PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: a calculation result of a percentage of shrinkage by a fixing device is applied to the next conveyed recording medium; and correction is not applied to the first conveyed recording medium. SOLUTION: The image forming device has an image forming part 108 for forming an image based on an image data, a fixing part 109 for fixing the image on the recording medium, a medium inversion route 151 for conveying, to the image forming part, the recording medium with the image fixed onto the first face of the recording medium, after inverted to the second face, the first measuring part 305 for measuring a size of the recording medium, when forming the image on the first face on the recording medium, and the second measuring part 317 provided within the medium inversion route and for measuring the size of the recording medium, wherein the device changes a size of a printing range based on the image data formed on the second face of the recording medium, in response to the shrinkage percentageαof the recording medium.
