OPTICAL SYSTEM AND INFRARED IMAGING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system comprising a simple structure and an infrared imaging system using the same. SOLUTION: The optical system includes a filter element including a resonance mode grating reflecting light of a specific wavelength region resonating with a periodic structure by minute irregularities; a first optical system guiding light of the first wavelength region radiated from an object to the resonance mode grating; a light source emitting light of a second wavelength region; a second optical system guiding the light of the second wavelength region emitted by the light source to the resonance mode grating; a photodetector detecting the intensity of the light; and a third optical system guiding the light of the specific wavelength region reflected by the resonance mode grating from among the light of the second wavelength region emitted by the light source to the photodetector.
