PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle information-providing device which provides information which conforms to a tendency of a user's interest, the device saving time and labor for inputting information which a user is interested in and accumulating reliability-excellent interesting information obtained from an information source except an action being accompanied by a vehicle. SOLUTION: The control part 11 of an on-vehicle navigation device 1 obtains telephone directory data stored in a mobile communication terminal 2, when its communication with the mobile communication terminal 2 becomes possible, and retrieves POI information, which conforms to the telephone number of a communication destination included in the telephone directory data, from a POI database stored in an external storage device 14, and then records the information on the category of the retrieved POI information and so on, as the information which a user is interested in, to a personal interesting information database stored in the external storage device 14.
