<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a sense of discontinuity in switching audio signals. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An audio signal processing apparatus comprises: a correction audio signal generating section for generating a correction audio signal, that is replaced with an input audio signal, on the basis of the input audio signal; a control section which outputs a switching control signal for controlling switching between the input audio signal and the correction audio signal from one signal to another signal; and a switching section for switching an audio signal to be played from one signal to the other signal by gradually decreasing a signal level of the one signal to zero level and gradually increasing a signal level of the other signal from zero level.
