<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scan type AD converting method and system, which reduces sample jitters. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The scan type AD conversion system AD-converts sequentially analog signals inputted from a plurality of parallelly connected sensors 12 by an AD converter 16 into serial data 32, and outputs the serial data, under the control of a microcomputer 72. Sequence control by a sequencer 18 such that a multiplexer 14 selects the plurality of sensors one after another and the sequentially inputted analog signals are AD-converted, is periodically performed. The sequencer 18 is driven with a clock outputted from a microcomputer 18 as a clock source and the serial data 32 are inputted to a serial interface 76 in the microcomputer 72.
