<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primary radiator high in reliability with time, and high in the flexibility of design. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The primary radiator 1 for antenna is provided with: its primary radiator body 10, of which at least the outer peripheral sidewall near the tip part is circular in plan view, and in which a first screw groove 11 is formed on the outer peripheral sidewall near the tip part; a through-hole 24 , formed in the insertion direction into the primary radiator body 10; a second screw groove 21 which is formed on the inner peripheral wall of the through-hole 24 and is screwed to the first screw groove 11 at the tip part of the primary radiator body 10; a cap 20, having a stopper part 23 which regulates insertion into the primary radiator body 10; and a coating member 30, which coats an opening at the tip part of the primary radiator body 10.
