摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument of surface plasmon resonance which has a small size and is capable of enhancing measuring precision and measuring reproducibility. SOLUTION: The light from a light source 32 arranged on the bottom of a housing 37 is thrown on a prism 34 arranged in the vicinity of the upper surface of the housing 37 and reflected from the surface of the metal membrane part 33 as the SPR part formed on the surface of the prism 34. The reflected light is received by the detector 35 arranged on the bottom of the housing 37 through the prism 34 and the incident angle to the metal membrane part 33 is changed to read the resonance angle of SPR lowering in signal intensity detected by the detector 35. The light source 32 and the detector 35 serving as heat sources as well as the prism 34 and the metal membrane part 33 are arranged so as to be spatially cut off by a heat insulating plate 36, so that the transfer of the heat on the side of the light source 32 to the metal membrane part 33 is attenuated.
