<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner having a structure which is easily fitted for the required amount of treatment wind. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner 10 removes dispersion particles contained in air by means of separation liquid 60. The air cleaner includes: a filter box 20 which has an air inlet for taking-in air 51 contaminated with mixed dispersion particles and an air discharging port 22 for discharging clean air 52 free from the dispersion particles, and stores the separating liquid on the bottom part; a plurality of bubbling cores 30 each having a hollow cylindrical shape in which an air passage 31 is formed; and suction passages 40 each of which is formed among the bubbling cores adjacent one another by arranging the plurality of bubbling cores and causes the contaminated air to flow therethrough. Each of the bubbling cores has an inlet port 32 which is disposed on the lower end part, brings the contaminated air flowing through the suction passage into gas-liquid contact with the separating liquid and, at the same time, introduces the contaminated air therethrough and an outlet port 33 which is disposed on the upper end part and makes the air effluent toward the air discharging port from the air passage.
