<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple tail pipe structure for being manufactured without increasing manufacturing cost, preventing increase in exhaust resistance caused by pressure loss and securely preventing adverse effects by heat of discharged exhaust gas. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A lower part of a tail pipe 1 is notched over the length L in the axis c direction of the tail pipe 1 at a notch circumference angle around the axis c of the tail pipe 1 to form an opening part 2. A barrier 4 having the same cross sectional circular shape as that of the tail pipe 1 is welded to a terminal of a remaining circumference part 3 remaining after the formation of the opening part 2. After exhaust gas flowing within the tail pipe 1 via an exhaust passage is mixed with the atmosphere in the opening part 2 to lower the temperature, the exhaust gas is collided with the barrier 4 and is discharged while diffused downwardly.
