PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor with a sufficient assembling property for easily performing renewal and dismantling. SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor includes a frame body 4 installed on a building structure; getting on/off floors 71, 72 provided on both end parts in a longitudinal direction of the frame body 4; a footstep 8 connected between the getting on/off floors 71, 72 in an endless form and circulated/turned; a drive device for driving the footstep 8; and a parapet 6 opposed to right and left sides along a turning direction of the footstep 8. The frame body 4 includes a pair of right and left steel plates; and a pair of right and left bases 9 having at least a mounting surface of the footstep traveling rail.
