<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel wave power generator generating electricity, by utilizing the vertical movements of waves, without having to use a rotating generator as a power generation section. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This wave power generator 10 includes: a tank 11 extending vertically; a first pipe 12, a second pipe 13 and a third pipe 14 respectively connected to the lower portion of the tank 11; a first bubble generator 15 and a first selector valve 19 respectively provided in the middle of the first pipe 12; a second bubble generator 17 and a second selector valve 20 respectively provided in the middle of the second pipe 13; and a third selector valve 21 provided in the middle of the third pipe 14. Bubbles generated by the first bubble generator 15 and bubbles generated by the second bubble generator 17 are supplied sequentially to the tank 11, by the operation of the first selector valve 19, a second selector valve 20 and a third selector valve 21; and thereafter, solution in the tank 11 is replaced with a solution supplied from the third pipe 14.
