The present invention relates to a rotary joint cover which stores and detects paint leaked during a rotary joint operation. The purpose of the present invention is to solve damage to rotary system equipment (expensive), the occurrence of defects in the painted product (paint leakage), and much time and repair costs at the time of overhaul and maintenance of the rotary system equipment. The present invention is designed to solve such problems. A two-stage separation type cover including an upside base and downside base is mounted to store paint that leaks due to aging of a rotary joint. A monitoring sensor is attached to the upper portion of the rotary joint, and the sensor is operated and gives an alarm to the outside when the paint is leaked and stored in the cover. The rotary joint cover according to the present invention can be mounted simultaneously at the time of mounting a rotary joint. When the paint is leaked due to an abnormality in the rotary joint, the paint can be stored in the cover and the stored paint is detected by the sensor. An external alarm function is operated to immediately signify the detection of a leakage of the paint. In addition, it is possible to prevent the inflow of the paint into the rotary system equipment, and it is possible to prevent defects to painted products, thereby improving productivity and quality. Since it is possible to secure a longer functional life of the rotary system equipment, costs are reduced. |
