PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray inspection device capable of setting the inside of a membrane packaging material to an inspection region without omission even in a commodity wherein an article is contained in the membrane packaging material to perform inspection of high precision. SOLUTION: The X-ray inspection device 10 is constituted so that the commodity G fed by a conveyor 12 is irradiated with X rays from an X-ray irradiator 13 and an X-ray image is formed on the basis of the quantity of X rays detected by an X-ray line sensor 14 to inspect the mixing with contamination. When the pan G1 in the bag B of the commodity G is detected by the X-ray line sensor 14, a control computer 20 adds the regions adjacent on the upstream side and downstream side of the pan G1 as inspection regions A1 and A2.
