PURPOSE: A video phone having a user authentication function using a user identification icon and a remote health care system using the same are provided to transmit user identification information corresponding to a selected user identification icon to a health care center server. CONSTITUTION: A controller(240) reads image data from a data memory(210), and outputs the image data and video data related to the execution of a service program. In response to an icon selection signal, the controller reads user identification information corresponding to the image data from a data memory. Based on the user identification information from a communication unit(250), a service providing company server(202) executes the authentication for one of plural users.
