<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for microwave oven cooking which is used for cooking while a pressure is controlled, is not crushed after cooking, and has a reduced production cost. <P>SOLUTION: This container 10a for microwave oven cooking consists of a container body 2a where a food material is stored and a lid body 3a fitted to the container body and the container body and the lid body are integrated by a hinge 4a. The container body 2a and the lid body 3a have a vertically facing fitting/contacting faces 21a and 31a where a ventilation part 50a consisting of a recess 24a and a ventilation hole 34a is provided. The container achieves cost reduction because it has only one component and prevents itself from being crushed because a ventilation part is provided to always communicate with the outside.
