<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner which includes a heat exchanger assembly constituted by stacking a plurality of heat exchangers formed to have an approximately L-shape in plane view along the flowing direction of heat exchange air and prevents dew formation inevitably formed in a step part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The indoor unit is provided with the first to third heat exchangers Na-Nc having heat exchange pipes penetrated through a plurality of fins F and performing heat exchange with the heat exchange air; the heat exchanger assembly 18 constituted by stacking the plurality of heat exchangers Na-Nc along the flowing direction of the heat exchange air; the step part D formed in the short edge part S end part of the heat exchange assembly 18 so that the length of the fin juxtaposing direction becomes longer step by step from upstream to downstream in the flowing direction of the heat exchange air; and a seal part 25b mounted on the most downstream side face in the heat exchange air flowing direction of the step part D. The length Ma in the fin juxtaposing direction of the seal part 25b is formed to be longer than the length Mb of a step portion between the first exchanger mounted with the seal part 25b and the second heat exchanger positioned on the upstream side at one level from the first heat exchanger (Ma>Mb).
