PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic bush effectively preventing the occurrence of damage to an outward flange, and sufficiently removing a variation of an installation dimension of the elastic bush. SOLUTION: This elastic bush has: an outer cylinder 2; and a cylindrical rubber elastic body 3 joined to an inner peripheral surface of this outer cylinder 2, and is provided for frictionally engaging an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical part 8 of the outer cylinder 2 with an inner peripheral surface of a sleeve 5, by being pressed in the sleeve 5 under diametrically contractive deformation of the outer cylinder 2. A contact surface 7 with the sleeve 5 of the outward flange 6 positioned on the rear end in the press-in direction and contacted in a surface with an end surface 5a of the sleeve 5, is formed as an inclined face of turning outside in the radial direction.
