<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing collision can prevent an own vehicle from deviating from a traveling lane and colliding with an object. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device for preventing collision includes: a traveling lane recognition part for recognizing the traveling lane of the own vehicle; a virtual deviation line setting part for setting a virtual deviation line on the traveling lane recognized by the traveling lane recognition part; a deviation alarm part for informing a user by an alarm that the own vehicle is deviated when the own vehicle is deviated from the virtual deviation line set by the virtual deviation line setting part; and a closed eye state detecting part for detecting a closed state of the driver's eyes. The virtual deviation line setting part sets a virtual deviation line at a default position on the traveling lane when the closed eye state detecting part does not detect the closed state of the driver's eyes, and sets a virtual deviation line on the inner side than the default position on the traveling lane when the closed eye state detecting part detects the closed state of the driver's eyes.
