The invention relates to a device (1) for an ultrasonograph (A) comprising a gel distributing device (2) which is attached, or built into, at least one signal emitting or receiving probe (3). Said device is provided with a gel holder for gel used to transmit ultrasound waves. The holder (4) is fixed to the probe (3) and has at least one opening (5) in the vicinity of the signal (S1) emission window (6) of the probe (3). The opening (5) is a single opening and is centred on the outside of the wall of the probe (3). The invention also relates to the use of a device (1) for an ultrasonograph (A) for a continuous and undisturbed analysis of a medical, paramedical or veterinary echography procedure, for optimising the reception of a perennial and persistant image, and for optimising the definition of said image during an ultrasonography procedure which is thereby rendered comfortable and does not present any health risk for the patient. |
