METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR CARRYING OUT HANDOVER FOR USER EQUIPMENT (UE) IN LTE SYSTEM

A method for carrying out handover policy selection for a user equipment (UE) in a LTE system is provided in the present invention mostly. The method mostly includes: a base station (BS) carrying out handover determination according to the history information of a UE, wherein the history information includes the handover cause values of the UE, and the BS carrying out the handover policy selection for the UE according to the data statistical analysis of the handover cause values. A BS is also provided in the present invention, and a handover policy selection for a UE can be carried out by using the BS, thereby the times of ping-pang handover can be reduced.
