<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display for achieving the frame rate conversion without an adverse effect of a video with which an OSD is combined. <P>SOLUTION: The video display 10 displays an input video signal in a display part. The OSD is combined with the video signal and OSD position information as information for showing the area of an OSD part combined with the video signal is added.
